CentiScaPe

Find the most important nodes in a network, calculating centrality parameters for each node.
##CentiScaPe ###Centralities for undirected, directed and weighted networks **New Features!** 1. Centralities for directed networks (the edges can have a direction as in metabolic and signal transduction networks 2. Centralities for weighted networks (use experimental data set as weight for the edges of the network) 3. New centralities added (Eigenvector, Bridging centrality and Edge Betweenness) Centiscape computes specific centrality parameters describing the network topology. The centrality parameters aid the users to find the most significant nodes in a complex network. The plugin computation generates both numerical and graphical output making easy to find the key nodes also in large networks. Network topological quantification can be combined with other numerical node attributes to provide biologically meaningful node identification and functional classification. CentiScaPe computes: **Network parameters:** 1. Diameter 2. Average Distance **Node parameters and their min, max and average values:** 1. Eccentricity 2. Closeness 3. Betweenness 4. Stress 5. Centroid 6. Radiality 7. Degree 8. Eigenvector 9. Bridging centrality **Edge parameters and their min, max and average values:** 1. Edge Betweenness See more at: [http://www.cbmc.it/~scardonig/]
